Both Hawks players would need to agree on the trade.
It's hard to imagine Toews in a different jersey other than Chicago.
Will Hossa "rash" be a problem for this upcoming training camp? |

Islanders can have Carey Price, Max Pacioretty, Mike Mccarron & the 35th pick for Michael Dal Colle, Keiffer Bellows, 11th overall pick, Thomas Greiss and Johnny Boychuk's contract (15% retained) |

I don’t see Hanifin being moved at all. Faulk is the one likely to go so Fleury and/or Bean can have a bigger role. Toronto would have to send Nylander in any Hanifin talks. No clue what Vancouver would send outside of 7th overall since I’m sure Pettersson is off limits |

It has been reported that Hossa is retiring due to this health issue. His contract would still be on the books however so I believe something would have to happen there.

Nobody is going to take on Toews brutal contract. Sorry but the Hawks are stuck with him. |

Nylander is more valuable then Hannifin at this point imo. I think you are over valuing Hannifin, but that being said way to early to really deal him. |

It might be shooting if there was even a shred of truth to it, which there is not. |

High end young Dmen are more of a commodity than like forwards. I think this is just an Ek thing though, Trashers 2.0 aren't moving two dmen out |

Faulk (being RHDman) isn't likely to get moved UNLESS the return is LARGE!
Faulk has a high "scoring record" and would be harder to replace than most LHD!
Hanafin might be moved, but the return would be significantly high, IMO! |

Nylander does not have more value than Hanifin.
At best they are even value, in reality it would be Nylander + for Noah. |

Gonna be interesting to see how San Jose manages their cap situation in the next few months. They just re-signed Kane for $7 million a year for seven seasons, and they have both Couture and Pavelski becoming UFA's next year, on top of Tierney and Hertl needing new deals, and Jumbo only on a single year deal. I really hope Doug Wilson has a plan in place, because at next year's deadline, we might see San Jose blow things up completely and rebuild. |
